Description/Characteristics :  

Their cone shaped shells is the reason for the name “cone snails.”
Conus have striking and colorful patterns on their shells. They are carnivorous and use a venomous radula (tooth) to immobilize and capture their prey. Found in the tropical and subtropical marine environments, including coral reefs and sandy bottoms.
