Affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and established in 1944 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the college is a beacon of excellence, fostering wisdom, critical thinking, and social responsibility. The awards, introduced during the college’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, celebrate the transformative contributions of educators who inspire students, advance society, and shape the nation’s future.
Honouring innovation, dedication, and a commitment to holistic education, the awards recognize one exceptional college teacher and one outstanding school teacher (up to the Plus Two level) each year. Winners receive a cash prize, memento, and citation at HEARTIFEST, the Annual Heartian Fiesta.
