The Sacred Heart College proudly announced the launch of its new BA (Honours) Visual Communication program. The inauguration ceremony was graced by prominent figures including Director Lal Jose, Principal C. S. Biju, School of Communication Director Babu Joseph, Deputy Director Fr. Antony PT, SHSC Dean Dr. Asha Achy Joseph, former SHSC Head of the Department Shanthi Mathai, and Department of Cinema and Television Head Jeeva K. J.
Director Lal Jose, in his keynote address, emphasized the importance of visual communication in today’s media landscape and the role of education in nurturing the next generation of creative professionals. Principal C. S. Biju highlighted the college’s commitment to providing top-notch education and resources to its students.
School of Communication Director Babu Joseph and Deputy Director Fr. Antony PT spoke about the collaborative efforts that went into designing the program, ensuring it meets industry standards and prepares students for a dynamic career in visual communication. SHSC Dean Dr. Asha Achy Joseph and former SHSC Head of the Department Shanthi Mathai expressed their excitement about the new opportunities this program will bring to both students and faculty.
Department of Cinema and Television Head Jeeva K. J. shared insights into the curriculum, which includes a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, aimed at fostering innovation and creativity among students.
