Budget at a Glance: A Panel Discussion on the Union and State Budgets – 2024” was organized by the department of Economics on February 9, 2024 at Fr. Melesius Hall, S. H College, Thevara. The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Joseph Varghese, Vice Principal, S. H College, Thevara. Dr. S. Harikumar, Emeritus Professor at CUSAT, assumed the role of moderator for the panel discussion. Dr. N. Ajithkumar, Professor and Former Principal of Cochin College, and Dr. Martin Patrick, Professor (Retd) Maharajas College, Ernakulam, were the panelists. It provided a platform for in-depth analysis and discourse on economic policies and their implications. By bringing together esteemed speakers and facilitating interaction among participants, the event contributed to a deeper understanding of budgetary matters and their significance in shaping the socio-economic landscape.
