Service Learning Students from Sacred Heart College Drive Road Safety Awareness at Menaka Junction

In collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra and the Motor Vehicle Department, Sacred Heart College’s service learning students spearheaded an impactful Road Safety Awareness Campaign at Menaka Junction. The conscientious initiative included a meticulous road audit to pinpoint potential safety concerns. Informative pamphlets were distributed to enlighten the public on crucial road safety practices. A Pedestrian Quiz added an interactive element, testing participants’ knowledge of traffic rules. The campaign also featured one-to-one awareness sessions, fostering direct communication to emphasize responsible road behavior. This concerted effort by the service learning students underscores the institution’s commitment to community welfare and instilling a culture of safety and responsibility on the roads.
