In a significant educational initiative, the TWO-DAY ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR PRINCIPALS took place at Sacred Heart College Thevara in Kochi on August 11 and 12, 2023. The event, jointly organized by the Council of Principals of Colleges in Kerala and the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), was characterized by meticulous planning led by Prof. (Dr.) A Biju and Dr. G. S. Gireesh Kumar. Attended by around forty principals representing diverse colleges across Kerala, the orientation aimed to empower educational leaders.
Key topics covered during the programme included E-grants, which highlighted the integration of technology in college administration, and PD rules tailored to principals’ roles. The session also delved into fees regulations and store purchase guidelines for efficient management. Spearheaded by Rev. (Dr.) Jose John CMI, Principal of SH College, Thevara, this event marked a progressive step toward fostering enhanced leadership and governance within Kerala’s educational institutions
